With last night's 104-59 loss to the Celtics in Boston, the Knicks' downward spiral is again picking up momentum.

"Of course I am embarrassed. We lost by nearly 50 points," guard Stephon Marbury said. "I'm angry. I'm always angry when I lose, but that was just flat-out embarrassing. To lose that bad was just ridiculous."

Zach Randolph was the poster child fora dysfunctional team in Portland before he landed here. Andthe next piece of the puzzle has already been caught wide-eyed and open-mouthed a number of times.

What did he think of the fans calling for Isiah Thomas’ job last week?

“I ain’t never heard anything like that before,” Randolph said.

And what about the 45-point loss in Boston?

“I ain’tnever seen anything like it,” Randolph said. “Never in my career.”

Both Isiah and Dolan need to step down and let someone else take the team.

Then trade Marbury and other pieces and rebuild.

    Or....keep getting embarrased.

The Knicks looked like what I expected them to look like last night. Sure the players should be embarrassed, but they didn't put this horrible team together.

Zeke needs to trade Balkman and Lee becuase their unselfishness and hustle doesn't fit in with the rest of the roster.

The Knicks are what we thought they were. Honestly, I can't help but laugh at everything about the Knicks lately. They're the definition of schadenfreude.

You my friend are a genius!

Its quite sad about this current knick squad though. Its a crime against basketball. This team would struggle in the Big East, let alone the NBA.

I was never mad at you for saying the Knicks would suck this year. In fact, I don't ever remember being mad at you for anything.

Sorry about the late post, but I feel the need to reply. Firstly, it was an embarrasing performance, but it's not surprising considering we don't match up well against Boston, especially in an away game. We lost to them by 40 in preseason also. Basically, we were massacred by the best team in the NBA at home. I think it's too early to say that we "suck" too. We had one of the harder schedules in the league playing Cleveland, Denver twice, Orlando, Phoenix twice, Pistons, Jazz, Boston, and Golden State. Three of those games we were shorthanded because of Zach Randolph mourning with his family after his grandmother died.

Our record could be better, but let's remember it's only the first month of the season and other teams have been struggling also. The verdict is still out on the Knicks.
