QUOTE

Heat coach Pat Riley said Jason Williams probably will return to the starting point guard job eventually, but he will stick with Chris Quinn in that role for Friday's game against Boston. Riley, in fact, said he will stay with the entire starting lineup that beat Charlotte on Tuesday, including Penny Hardaway at small forward.
''Right now, we just need change,'' Riley said. ``[ Dwyane Wade] hit it right on the head -- just something different, anything.''
Riley said he's 'probably more responsible for [Williams'] lack of production than anybody'' because of the team's emphasis on getting Shaquille O'Neal and Wade involved.
''I've probably stymied his overall freedom,'' Riley said. ''I need to let him go a little bit more.'' In Tuesday's 110-90 win against Charlotte, Williams played 28 minutes, Quinn 19. Williams said he's OK with coming off the bench. ''It's fine with me,'' he said. ``Whatever makes the team win, I'm willing to do.''
Quinn is shooting 22 percent from the field (4 for 18) but Riley wants him to shoot if open. ''Quinn is an extremely good shooter,'' Riley said. ``He just doesn't get enough reps.''

Source: Miami Herald

If Miami gets throttled by Boston again expect changes.

Sidenote - Dorrell Wright is sulking somewhere right now with this news.

I like Jay Williams but I dont think he should be the Heats starting point guard. I think we should find a trade for a new PG, C or PF, We have atleast 5 guys that should be leaving the NBA in 2-3 seasons. Wade needs help and i think a new PG, C or PF would work.
