Playing overseas builds character and puts guys like Hassan in positions he might not find himself in in leagues like the D league that are full of guys doing all they can to show off for NBA teams. I think this is a good move for him and I bet the paycheck isn't too shabby either comparatively.</p>

And in the premiere leagues in Europe a good player can earn good money even compared with the Nba and if he'll succeed, he can came back to the Usa as a better layer... I'm pretty jealous.</p> He became a quick fan favorite on these boards. He's a good, hardworking hustle player who in my opinion was unfairly cut. I wish the best of him there and hope he keeps leading that team. I hope he does make back to the NBA sooner or later...I'm sure the Nets could use him as an energy/defensive/hustle player right about now.</p>

Who said Hassan couldn't score? The Nets'd be wise to bring him back. I'd rather have Hassan over Billy Thomas.

So let me get this straight...the Nets need to bring back a guy who isn't shooting 40% from the field in the Italian SECOND league. Are you guys beyond reason? He was a marginal NBA player...who is very well suited for Europe, which is filled with skilled tweeners. He was 8 for 23 in his last game.
