A bad win over a bad Sixers team and which they dominated but choked the game away. Nobody playing well. It's a mess.

Dominated? They were down by 18 pts at halftime, but responded in the 3rd and 4th. Either way, it was a bad win..over I guess you can say, a bad team.

Ah, I see. Well, the Nets got extremely lucky. They won't pick up wins just playing one half of basketball, it's time to put it to an end.

They were due. They had a miserable game the night before and we came out flat. We still came away with the victory. You don't just luck out of a double digit hole jizzy. We're a far better team and we're still trying to figure out a winning formula without Nenad and Marcus. This is what an injured team looks like.

We saw flashes of this last year when the nets were losing to the blazers the sonics the bobcats and losing leads in the fourth. Everyone was healthy and this was way before Dec 21 when Krstic went down. I don't know what's wrong with this team. I will not make any excuses with injuries or anything else. These are professionals.

I'm not making excuses either but the reality is are that the Nets are a very fragile puzzle of a team where each player is supposed to bring something to the table to help this team win as a collective unit. You lose one or two guys who are supposed to be major contibutors the puzzle then has two big chunks out of it and we should be thanking our lucky stars we have 3 players who can carry us through the rough times. Last season we were still figuring out our team at this time as well because we were still trying to find a balance between RJ and Vince and get Nenad his too with a bench full of young players.Yeah it would be nice to have the team playing well for 4 quarters every night but we're witnessing growing pains minus Marcus, Nenad, and DA. We won the game, if we would have rolled over then we could make the agrument they're being unprofessional. They were looking ahead to tonight and they paid for it. Lets see what they do tonight.

...and that's a good thing? That doesn't say much about our defense.

If a team that's been shooting miserably and is probably low on confidence has a strong shooting game against us, that's really, really, really sad.

I gotta tell ya Jizzy I expect threads like this after every single Nets loss, but after the wins, too?

The good is that even with insanely lazy defense and the other team shooting the best they did all season we still won the friggin game. We could have easily had a repeat of the Raptors game but we didn't. Baby steps. This team isn't just gonna have one game where everything just clicks it's a gradual process and I thought they actually took big one in the right direction getting stops and executing down the stretch. Now they need to work on staying out of those positions in the first place but the bench help we're getting now isn't gonna do much to change that problem so we're probably gonna see a bit more of this until we get everyone back.

You are not going to win many games starting Malik Allen and Jason Collins at the 4 and 5. You just aren't. And Frank continues to play Collins in crunch time in close games, when it should be Williams. And as abysmal as the bench has been, they have to give Magloire some more playing time and Nachbar too. Boki's losing confidence, and I think if they started him, he might round into form. Boki could use some easy fastbreak dunks playing with Kidd. Plus, at least Magloire will mix it up and maybe get some garbage points down low.

I'm pretty close to being done with this team. They can't beat a good team. I think they have 1 win vs. a winning team this year (Lakers).
