On Monday, the righthander will face his formerteam as a starter for the first time. Looper (6-7, 4.72 ERA) takes the mound for the St. LouisCardinals as they open a three-game series with the Marlins. The 32-year-old recorded 46 saves in four seasons for theMarlins from 1999-2003 and won a world championship with theteam in his final season there. Now Looper will look to beathis former team and help the Cardinals to just their third winin the last seven games.
