Kidd has been doing relatively well as far as the box score.</p> But watch his defense. One of the reasons the Nets are getting worse at 3pt defense is Kidd not contesting shots.</p> Maybe Frank is playing him too many minutes and he doesn't have enough energy. But maybe he's just mad about the contract extension.</p> Let's see if he can guard Chauncey Billips and Rip Hamilton. At this point, even Vince Carter is playing better defense...</p>
Kidd usually saves himself for what he feels are matchups worth going all out for. Billups has routinely been one of those guys he likes battling. He almost needs to play well defensiely tonight after having that extension leak he's gonna look like he's mailing it in even if it's the backend of a back to back off a OT win because ya know the rumors will start going crazy even if he's just exhausted.</p>
Billups has more to proove as he was Kidd's backup on the US National team. don't have good feelings about this game.
Billups is gonna get at least 3 three-pointers. Unless he has a REALLY off game (and can't hit a wide open shot).</p>
