OSU is stepping up in class.
LSU has played several opponents as good or better than the Buckeyes.

QUOTE (o.iatlhawksfan)

The hawaii vs. Georgia game should be nice. I might go out to see that one actually.

Hawaii is nowhere near as good as Boise State was last year.

That UK team at that point in the season was firing on all cylinders. I'm not an OSU hater but they still haven't played a team with the same caliber of any SEC team except for maybe Vanderbilt.

I am not very happy with where Georgia ended up, I don't want to play Hawaii. They are going to throw, and throw, and then throw some more. And then they might beat us. They're a tough match-up for Georgia. The rest of the BCS schedule has the potential for some exciting games, except for Virginia Tech-Kansas. That's a snoozer.

I think Illinois will give USC a fight.

Ohio State's schedule is almost a joke. Their three most impressive wins are Michigan, Penn State, and Wisconsin. Sorry but I'm not impressed. The only reason that LSU-OSU is going to be a close game is because LSU will still be a little banged up. LSU will still win.

OSU will keep it close, because they have a defense, as does LSU. Both their offenses aren't anything to really brag about. LSU probably has the edge there though. It should be interesting.Haven't decided on who to pick yet.

I know people are like "Ohio State-ugh" but they deserve to be in. They had one loss and that was to a BCS team in Illinois on the road. They survived ina season when everyone else fell to teams below their caliber.
Same with LSU, they had two losses, but they were both on the road and both were multiple overtime losses. They deserve to be in.
Should be a good game but I'm going withthe team I picked at the beginning of the season, LSU.

LSU to Arkansas and OSU to Illinois.

LSU is going to plow the Luckeys and I can see them running OSU off the field much like Florida did last year.
Also, SC should roll the Cryin Illini in their backyard.
SC playing Illinois in the Rose Bowl (Home game, 14 miles from campus) LSU playing OSU in the Sugar Bowl (Home game, 80 miles from campus)
I love it, the Big-11, err Big-10 is going to get plowed.

Overall, The Sooners & Mizzou got screwed.
Hopefully, my alma mater (U of Utah) can recall how to defend the triple option. The Air Force academy used to give them fits.
I had a feeling it'd be Ohio St & LSU.... I can't wait to see Ohio St lose to another SEC team for the 2nd year in a row. Preliminary indications are that Tressel won't do much differet after waiting the same amount of time as last year.
If Dorsey & Doucet are 100% healthy this game will not be close... not a blow out like last yr but a decisive victory for the boys from Red Stick.

The Championship game is going to boil down to intensity on defense and composure on offense. One thing that scares me is that LSU is the most penalized team in the SEC. That is NOT the way to win a championship.
I also think that LSU will have a slight QB controversey on their hands. Whether anyone will admit it or not LSU fans are splitting into a Perrilloux and a Flynn camp and I'm wondering if it is happening within the team itself to some small degree.
Then when you factor the way OSU got beatdown last year, and that immense chip on their shoulder that must be left, the game should be closer than many of you predicted.
I love the matchup of the old number 1 D vs the new number 1 D...we will find out if LSU's lack of defense has really been about injury or not.
Don't forget how Les Miles is a former Michigan player who would absolutely love to beat OSU. Just a little added incentive. Some great story lines here.
