I don't understand either. No disrespect to Hawaii but they didn't play Oklahoma twice and were never close to being no. 1 in the country.

Missouri is two spots higher in the BCS rankings.
The voters did this? Why?
I'm so confused.

Actualy, Missouri is ahead of Kansas in all three polls and the BCS standings.
So how is Kansas in a BCS bowl and Missouri is not?
Has anyone reported on this?
There must ba a lot of Jayhawk Football fans wandering around Miami.

They didn't lose a game all season and I think they are going to prove they can compete with Georgia.

There is a rule, only 2 teams can go from each conference. Usually when there is a hot team that's high, they get in above conference losers. UGA this yr. LSU did last yr when Arkansas went to SEC title game and lost to UF, as well. Not that it's right in this case, becauseKU just lost them. I'd also rather see my teamplaying Mizzou.

I think the voters should look at every aspect of selection, and I think they failed horribly in doing so.

Well, if that's the case, then the Vols would've or should've gotten in instead of UGA. They beat them to head to head badly earlier in the yr.

True. It's not that I agree with it as I mentioned. I was just saying, that's usually how it works. Orange Bowl should have to explain.

I still say that Hawaii deserves to get their chance to go up against one of the better teams in the conference.

Mizzou beat Illinois and Kansas... Yet both of those teams made it into the BCS over last week's #1 team.
What a joke. I still cant believe that happened and Illinois made it in over ASU.

Arizona State didn't have one quality win. Their only big games against ranked opponents, USC and Oregon, they got blown out. That's why. I can understand if you said ASU in over Kansas, because Kansas didn't beat any ranked opponent either.

I dont think Illinois deserves to be in there, and the only reason they are is because of the Rose Bowl tradition.

Here is the 411, OB is run by many"Golden Canes" from the University of Miami. They are powerful withthe selection committee. Missouri backed out on a home and away with the U in 2004-2005 at end of 2003 season, leaving them hanging at last minute to find replacement games. Memory is long. They choose to stick it to Missou nowand what better than to bring KU to MIA!!! The OB would never stick the Big 12, to much history, so you can see why Big 12 is happy to have 2 teams in BSC and explain this away. That is the story and I am stickingto it.
