If the Rose somehow would not pick a Big-10 team, Illinois would definately be left out, and ASU would be in the Fiesta. I dont think Illinois deserves to be in there, and the only reason they are is because of the Rose Bowl tradition.

Illinois beat the #1 team in the country then and also played Mizzou #6 down to the wire. At least they have a quality win. They deserve to be in a BCS Bowl over ASU regardless of how they picked matchups. ASU didn't beat anyone and got blown out both games when they had a chance to prove themselves. I don't wanna hear it. They have a case over Kansas though.

But if anyone truly got screwed, it was Mizzou, as the thread was initially created for.

I hate ASU, but losing by 12 to Oregon, who was one of the best teams in the nation is not getting blown out. They were blown out by SC.

Here is my beef with Illinois. They played 2 games in the final4 weeks. They went from unranked to a BCS bowl in that time span. I dont care who they beat, I still dont think that is right.

Mizzou beat Kansas head to head & had a much better strength of schedule. So, I can't make any sense of it.

And now for a good laugh; BYU (in Today's Salt Lake Tribune) is whining and citing Hawaii S. O. S. as a reason they got jobbed. BYU already lost to UCLA & to Tulsa.
