Two years ago, when Brett ended the season with 30 interceptions, I thought it was time for Favre to retire. He proved me wrong and I really glad because he really is one of my favorite players of all-time despite the grief I like to give the cheeseheads for their Favre worship.
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/maga...2007/index.html

He's been fantastic this year. He's going out there and proving a ton of people wrong every week. Put me in with the group that thought he overstayed his welcome a few years back...I would have nevered predicted their record to be as good as it is.

The Packers' success this year does have a lot to do with Favre, but it's the defense that really deserves the credit for the 10 - 2 start.
I'm glad Favre won the award. He's only the 4th NFL player to win it and the first Packer. I'm very happy for him...
Another link: http://www.bizjournals.com/milwaukee/stori...03/daily17.html
