<h3>Rockets look to find shooting stroke against Grizzlies</h3>

HOUSTON (Ticker) - The Houston Rockets' mediocre start may be aresult of their inability to find the bottom of the net.

The Rockets try to end their shooting woes and a two-game slideon Wednesday when they face the Memphis Grizzlies.

Houston is shooting just 44 percent from the field this season,ranking 21st in the NBA. The Rockets have been even colder from3-point range, hitting 31 percent from the arc - better thanonly the Philadelphia 76ers, the New Jersey Nets and the ChicagoBulls.


The Rockets shot 42.7 percent from the floor during aneight-point loss against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday aftermaking 44.6 percent of their shots against the Golden StateWarriors.


However, Houston was a combined 10-of-39 from 3-point range inthe two losses, which came after a three-game winning streak.

The Grizzlies had won three of four games before suffering a106-105 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday.

Rudy Gay scored two of his 30 points on a follow-shot after JuanCarlos Navarro missed a jumper to put Memphis ahead 105-104with two seconds to play. However, Travis Outlaw hit a runningjump shot at the buzzer to deny the Grizzlies their secondconsecutive win.
