I can't believe that there isn't a thread yet about Antoine Wright. yet another game that the Nets win when Antoine doesn't play, or doesn't play much at all. Is Antoine a help or a hindrance? Discuss.

Friend - He's hitting that jumpshot, and although I haven't looked at the stats, its been my perception that he's been more reliable from 3-pt land (considering FG attempts, too). He hasn't lost his defensive ability, and is now driving through the lane with confidence.

one dimensional player with above average defensive skills. still waiting for him to blossom, but, apparently one just can't jump above his head.

Foe - He's fools gold.. Just when you think he's good, he's not that good. Although his Fear and Loathing in the Las Vegas summer camp has helped his gameplay alot. I just thought he'd be a bit more krunk at this point.

He reminds me of Courtney Alexander or Qunton Ross... not in a good way. Not sure why really either...

Im gonna have to side with jerkstore. I know it was the LeBronless Cavs but we still played very smooth. Makes you wonder.

Cavs without LeBron are probably a bottom 3 team in the league.

BTW, where was Antoine last night? I was a few minutes late tuning in the game (forgot about the early start), and I didn't hear anything about him. Was he sick? Not with the team? DNP-CD?

    From ESPN's player page:

Status alert: Wright received treatment for his sore left shoulder and did not participate in Tuesday's shootaround, the New York Post reports. (Dec 4)

Not sure, but i think it was injury/sickness related. If it was major you would have heard more about it by now.

Wright was dressed. He had the sore shoulder that he had a wrap around the entire game.

Friend- He's not what the Nets (or everyone here) thought he would be, but he's not anywhere as tentative/scared to shoot/ whatever else you want to call it as he was the two previous years. He still plays good D on the other teams best wing a lot, freeing up Kidd and Carter to do the things they do well.

Plus he's really the only backup for Vince Carter the team has.
