Are you still the die hard Nets fan?
I'm glad to see Kidd to be LBJ's teammate.
They will be a crazy duo.
But I think our Nets would still be good ...

Yes. There are players on other teams I like, but the Nets are the team I like. I'm not going to stop liking a team just because a player left.

We are loosing with Kidd so it's not gonna make us any less exciting loosing games without Kidd. Plus, it's always nice seeing who steps up to the plate and runs this team.

Why would you not be a Nets fan if they traded Kidd? That's the meaning of fair-weather, awful stuff.
The only thing that can sway me is if the Nets traded Kidd for Bynum, but I doubt that happens. I might kill myself in that situation.

I wasn't a Nets fan before Kidd came, but now that I've gotten my first taste I can't say no. I'll still wear my Kidd jersey. By no means do I want to trade him and blow the team up, but being a Nets fan I've had enough time to acclimate to the idea.

yea i'd still be a fan of the nets because i grew up the NY/NJ area and I've always rooted for them. However, if Kidd actually asked to be traded I wouldn't be a fan of his, I'd root against him. I'm against players asking for trade. I feel that they get paid millions of dollars to play a kid's game and don't actually impact anyone's life on a personal basis like say a doctor or a subway operator or teacher. Everyone has to make sacrfices in order to earn money and an athlete's sacrifice should be to have to play for the terms of the contract that they signed for. Beside's management has catered to him a lot and it doesn't help that he doesn't seem as high character as say avery johnson or even a dikemebe mutombo. i'm just tired of athlete's not playing by the rules when they get paid a lot of money to really do nothing in my opinion. Again it's my opinion and I don't expect many to agree with me. I just think our culture in general is really messed up that entertainer's are allowed so much power and can hold so many people hostage in a situation.

I think so. Kidd got me interested in the Nets, but even if he left, I can't just say "Well screw them". I've been a fan of NJ too long.
I will always been a Kidd fan too, he's my favorite player, and for whichever team he plays for, I will root for them as well. It's sad to think he could be gone. Oh crap....how would I watch his games?!

been a Net fan since I was born petty much. my dad was a fan since the ABA days, and I grew up with it in the late 80's/early 90's. my first game was Nets vs. Bulls in 92 against Jordan and his crew. so, of course I'll still be a Nets fan after Kidd goes. Players come and go. I miss Kittles. I miss K-Mart. I obviously miss Drazen, Coleman. But, it's great to see Marcus and Sean and Boone, the future for the next few years for us. Kidd was one of the best we've ever had, of course, but that doesn't stop me.
