http://www.forbes.com/lists/2007/32/biz_07...ons_Income.html

` I don't know if I am reading this correctly or not, but I guess Cohan just barely made even with 1.3 mils operating income. Of course, he needs to substract interest and taxes, and deduct depreciation and amortization from 1.3 mils. So, I would guess he didn't get anything or lost some $ from operating Warriors. So, don't hold your breath if you think Warriors will eat some luxury tax.

` Our team value is 309 mils and it is increased by 16%. And, debt/value ratio isn't that bad either with 24% (Nets with 62%...)

` I wonder why our revenue is quite low with only 103 mils. Almost all teams with lower revenue are from smaller markets or shares the city with another NBA teams. Maybe, it has something to do with being horrible for last 13 years.

` NY is no. 1 in revenue with 196 mils, but they are the last with operating income with whooping 42.2 mils loss. Ouch.

`No wonder Seattle is trying to move out. Their revenue is the dead last, and they lost 5.7 mils in operation...

Cohan made 16% equity gain on $300M+ in one year. $48M.

Yeah, but it's like your house price going up. It's nice to see it going up, but until you actually sell the house, you are not going to see the benefit. Heck, you may even have to pay additional tax because of it. So, it really doesn't help Warriors in terms of spending additional $ to sign/resign players. Still, he bought the team with 119 mils in 12 years, and now the team is over 300 mils. Not bad at all...
