Jesus, just watching the Nets play makes me want to yawn. Last few years when they lost at least we had some oohs and aahs but this year the only guys giving us that is Sean Williams and RJ.

If I didn't love this team so much I would never watch these games.

    Perfectly said.

Use to be 3 to 4 highlights a game. We now are lucky to get 1 a week.

It's not even the highlights. They're playing like someone is forcing them, not because they want to.

True, they look so lethargic. RJ is the only one who actually looks like he wants to play.

One great sign is Vince Carter's beard, which has the makings of an ABA-style bushy veteran deal.

Baron Davis is trying to pull that off, but it just makes him look like the crazy guy hanging outside 7-11 asking random people for smokes.

Vince, however, is ready to advance into his "I'm old and tired so defend my man for me, rook, and I'll just score some points" phase of his career.

If he grows his hair out enough to showcase his receded hairline, it would definitely get him extra "grizzled veteran" cred.

I think he was born for this. I'm excited to see where it goes.

Hey, if you got the basketball blues after watching the Nets play then try to catch a Phoenix Suns game. It's just so damn fun to wath and their offense will leave you in awe.
