Dolphins will do better in Year 2 of the Cameron tenure than the jets have done in the reign of the mangenius.

Its been said that the 2nd yr is the most crucial.

Its damn near impossible for Cam to have a spohomore slump. lol.

I was about to say. "that's assuming that Cam Cameron has a year two," but we all know thatBA never assumes. Do you know something about Cam Cameron's job security that we don't? Seriously, I would be surprised if Wayne H. fires him. While Cameron has made some mistakes, this collapse does have it's origin in the "Teflon" Dave era.

The real ironclad guarantee (I was sure of it), was that DolfanDale would post in this thread [IMG]

You are so right. I theorize (what?), speculate (what?), play hunches (what?), go w/ my intuition (what?)

    I'm not Lamont Cranston, but...

If Wayne gave Dave almost 5 years, He'll give someone w/ a plan & vision sometime. He would have given Nicky boy enough time too IMO

Its alot easier to go where the phins are now to where middle of the pack than going from the 9 or 10 wins during the Vanilla reign (aka Wanny's tenure) to Super Bowl champs.

The phins will do better next year than the Saints this year.

Cam Cameron should be fired. The NFL is designed so no team should be as bad as the Dolphins, or as good as the Patriots. The system is designed to keep everyone on somehwhat of an even keel, to not win a game someone is doing something wrong, and every know the blame goes to the Coach first.

Starting over for the 3rd time in 4 years is neither brilliant nor practical.

In the past, Beef mentioned axing Capers & installing a cover 2. After some thought, it would not be a bad idea if one of the Colts or Vikings position coacheswere available.

After further thought, I can only hope that some team is nutty enough to givers Capers another HC gig. The man to replace him and tweak the D for the talent currently on the roster is IMO Ron Rivera. The schemes he learned & used in Philly and Chicago would be idealin S Florida.

As for Cam, There needs to be an OC. Cam can retain play calling duties but someone needs to be brought in for day to day oversight. Either Billick (if he gets fired) or Former Raiders & Huskers coach Bill Callahan would be fine with me.
