NFL: INDIANAPOLIS (10-2) at BALTIMORE (4-8)
Ravens seek to end skid vs. Colts
Indianapolis (10-2) at Baltimore (4-8) 8:15 pm EST BALTIMORE (Ticker) -- The Baltimore Ravens have a big chip ontheir shoulder. They may need it. The Ravens will be looking to snap a six-game losing streak whenthey host the defending Super Bowl champion Indianapolis Coltson Sunday. Baltimore is coming off a crushing last-minute defeat to theunbeaten New England Patriots on Monday night. Although the Ravens dominated play, they watched the Patriotsmarch 73 yards in the final 3:30 for the winning touchdown -helped in huge part by a defensive holding call in the end zonethat would have ended the game. "In a game of this magnitude, you don't make that call,"cornerback Samari Rolle said. "Let the players decide theoutcome of the game. You can crown them champions now. I'm nottaking anything away from them." Rolle was further incensed by head linesman Phil McKinnely, telling the Baltimore Sun that McKinnely repeatedly called him"boy." With the Ravens flagged 13 times for 100 yards, linebacker BartScott went so far as to tell ESPN that it's a conspiracy by theleague to help the Patriots complete a perfect season. Lost in all the controversy was a superb performance byBaltimore running back Willis McGahee, who rushed for aseason-high 138 yards and a touchdown. He has scored in sevenconsecutive games. Quarterback Kyle Boller also played well in the windyconditions, completing 15-of-23 passes for 210 yards, twotouchdowns and one interception. Now the Ravens must take on the Colts, who seem to have regainedtheir footing with three straight victories followingback-to-back losses. Peyton Manning threw four touchdown passes as the Colts held offthe Jacksonville Jaguars, 28-25, to seize control of the AFCSouth last week. In last season's divisional playoffs, the Ravens held Manning to170 yards and two interceptions on 15-of-30 passing, but theColts, won, 15-6, on five field goals by Adam Vinatieri. Indianapolis opened a two-game lead over Jacksonville bysweeping the season series and can clinch the division titlewith a win and a loss by the Jaguars. With Marvin Harrison missing his fifth straight game with asevere bone bruise in his knee, fellow wideout Reggie Wayne hadanother monster game with eight catches for 158 yards and onetouchdown.
