The problem with this philosophy is that A) our organization doesn't understand the difference between a Center and a PF, [IMG] additionally they are horrible at evaluating player talent (especially with our frontcourt) and C) seting rotations to with players who compliment eachother.

    A) first of all, YES we have 6 big men...however only Sean Williams and Malik Allen our true power forwards...Josh Boone, Jamal Malgiore, Jason Collins and Nenad Kristic are all Centers..MAYBE Josh Boone can play some Power Forward but thats its. Thats why every time we play a team with an athletic offensive big we get torn up...cause we put a slow center on him ala Collins or a PF who sucks ala Allen. The reality is that most teams today have quicker, athletic power forwards...we cannot keep pretending just because someone is over 6'9 they can play either position...THERE IS A DIFFERENCE!

    2) Evaluation of Talent...Lawrence Frank SUCKS AT IT. Our two worst bigs...Jason Collins and Malik Allen respectively...START! Too think before the game today Chris Carrino and Mark Jackson were wondering why we always get behind in the first quarter? Maybe because our starting frontcourt is horrible on both sides of the basketball and allow teams to get to the rim on offense and exclusively guard the perimeter and help on our guards so that life is more difficult for them. Sean Wiliams, Josh Boone and Jamal Magliore see inconsistent minutes BUT consistently perform better than Allen and Collins when given minutes.

    5) If a team is featuring an athletic frontcourt why play collins? Why doesnt a rebounder ala Boone play with a defender ala Williams? Here's an idea...with athletic teams try a combo of Sean/Boki at PF and Boone/Sean at Center...against a team like the Knicks Boone/Sean and Collins/Magliore with a focus of Boone and Collins together and Sean and Magliore together...they COMPLMENT EACHOTHER.

I REALLY don't see a reason to play Malik because honestly vs a Garnett or Randolph he's useless and against a Marion or Jamison Boki plays better defensively while being much more offensively potent.

    just some thoughts.

In fact, I don't think we are going to win now, I still have a solution tough, but I don't think the coach staff would think about it except we have 10 losing streak.

It's just so easy to make this team stronger, start Magloire and Sean Williams.Lawrence Frank had tried to play this lineup when Carter was out, but too bad, Those 2 games that they started, we lost, then you could say Lawrence Frank would put this idea to his dog house in any day, Frank this stupid, as long as he played someone and then lost the game, he will never play him/them anymore.Anyway, we can see the diffrence when Sean and Jamaal both started the game.

callmecrazi, you are right, we are always behind in the first quarter, because our starters are not strong enough. Give me a break, Malik Allen and Jason Collins? They are not belong to the starter organization. If we have Jamaal Magloire, we have strong enough center presense, and Sean Williams with the big 3 could attack the rims very often and consistently.

I still don't get it, why does Frank like to hide the advantage of this team, he just likes to play the weak starters and let the stronger players come off the bench. Starting Magloire, Sean, RJ, VC, Kidd is really not an bad idea, we are already in an losing streak, why don't you make a try ?

If you start this lineup for 10 games, and we are still playing like a shit, ok, I will be quite, but why don't you even try it once ?It's just miserable that Lawrence Frank is our coach. I don't blame Jason Collins right now, because it's all Frank's fault due to his infatuation for Jason Collins.

another thing with this starting combo.

Collinsand AllenDON'T rebound, which means other teams will get second and third oppurtunites even when our guards play GOOD perimeter defense, contesting shots and creating misses. Offensively we get killed because we don't get second oppurtunities...meaning if a team plays solid perimeter defense on us and we dont hit a high percentage of shots from 15+ out we are gonna fall behind.

Simply put if we have the same FG% as the other team then we won't win the the game...cause they'll get ALOT more shots than us.

As for starting Magliore and Williams...it would probably be helpful...infact I honestly like it because then as a rotation we could sit JKidd, Vince, Williams and Magliore and then bring in Armstrong, Wright, Boki, and Boone and not suffer as much offensively because though Wright is as productive offensively as Vince...Boki and Boone would be a potent offensive frontcourt.
