Rockets have been struggling this season and have not been playing as good as I expected. They have been losing to beatable teams such as Memphis, Raptors, and Sacramento. If we want to be true contenders in the playoffs, we gotta win atleast the games we have a good chance at winning. To me, right now, it seems as if the Rockets are getting no one help from their bench. Bonzi, Rafer, Hayes, and Battierall have incosistent games and they must be consistent in order for us to win. Tmac and Yao simply cant get it done for us each and every night. At this point in time, I really think we should get rid of Luther Head. He has really fallen off this year. In order for us to be considered a dangerous team in the NBA, our role players must be consistent because Yao and Mac are not gonna get it done. I still believe we can come back and start winning some games but role players must be consistent.

From what I saw this weekend in Toronto, when the Rockets blew an 11-point halftime lead almost instantly in the third quarter, it seems like McGrady and Yao are both secondary stars. For sure they can take over games, but they just don't have the desire to do it every time. One of those two guys needs to get a chip on his shoulder, or they need to make a trade for somebody like Artest who will spark the team.

I don't quite agree with that. Both Yao and TMac are very passionate players with the most desire to win. Yao spent a long time after the game fuming about his and the whole team's performance. He barely even got the ball in the second half.

I don't quite see the motivation in the team at times to win games. Last year's team in that perspective was much better. This might be because of Rick Adelman's more laid-back coaching compared to Van Gundy, but the lack of a solid supporting cast and consistent third scorer to take some of the pressure off TMac and Yao definitely plays a part.
