Sitting out as a protest, sitting out because he was sick....teams believes him, team doesn't believe him....wants a trade, wants to end his career with the Nets....extension was rejected, extension talks are still going on.</p> Who knows anymore. I don't know what to think until the trade deadline passes or he gets moved, whichever comes first.</p>

I think Kidd's suitors are rather limited at this point. Kings are not competing, so I doubt they will enter the fray for Kidd. You're only looking at a handful of teams out there....at least the championshp contenders...eliminate the east. Spurs, Mavs, Suns, Jazz. Eliminate the Jazz, Suns and Spurs they all have solid points...that leaves the Mavs. A couple of wannabes are the Lakers, and Rockets. So there's really only 3 teams that would want Kidd and can afford him.</p>

Maybe he's trying to lower Kidd's trade value so the team he goes to won't be significantly weakened.</p>
