Dude, you need to get your eyes checked, TJ's head bounced off the floor. Falling from the right height that could knock anyone out.
If it was a legit play can someone please explain why Hortford was kicked out for it. Does the NBA usually kick players out of games for good hard fouls.
And I really don't get where all this Hortford is a bad person stuff comes from.

Yeah, I dont think anyone here even Raptors fans are saying Horford is a dirty player but it just was a dumb move for him to do, watching Horford play through college and now in the NBA he really looks like a genuine good guy so theres no questioning wheather it was accidental or not. Ford being injury prone is a factor but you cant say any other player would have gotten up, watch the replay from the baseline camera, he is literally falling backwards and literally breaks his fall with his head as it hits the floor and snaps back, so you guys are telling me if you fall backwards from that height weather it be you, Kobe, Vince or any superstar that they will just brush it off as it is nothing?

o.iatl said something about people saying Horford's a dirty player...maybe from another message board?
Actually, usually, players take hits like that alot in the NBA. It happens. TJ's weak, and couldn't take the hit as well as others.
If that happened to most other players in the NBA, they would've fallen to the ground, and gotten right back up. Horford would've gotten a flagrant, and nobody would be saying anything about this.

It was a stupid play I agree, but players make stupid plays all the time, should we suspend them for making careless plays?

Yes, but they didn't think they before they acted. It's like saying you shouldn't do anything to a guy who drove his car in to another guys car, because while he was angry, he didn't mean to injure the guy, just give him a nudge. The fact is, Horford laid down a stupid foul, and while I don't think a long ass suspension is in order, something should be done, to show other players that shit like that won't go un-noticed.

This isn't the National Bitch Association. I see nothing at all with players playing hard. That's why I watch basketball.

I dont think were on the same page, its not the hit that injured TJ Ford it was the way he fell. All his weight was coming down on his head and he fell hard, it wasnt the hit by Horford that injured TJ it was how he fell. Now I understand what your saying though, because TJ is such a small and fast player when he elevates he gets really high up off the ground and its a long way down and then to get all contorted in midair makes it hard to land safely, if lets say Kobe went up I think he would be a little bit more in control and wuld be able to break his fall alot better. I just kindof want to make this clear because it just makes TJ look really soft, he has taken harder hits from bigger defenders and bounced right up before its just that he slammed his head really hard against the floor and had a whiplash effect on his neck which would hurt anyone.

He isn't weak at all, when you had an injury like his, and you come back, it shows you are strong enough to play. Horford, and I don't know why you don't admit this, laid down a stupid foul. He is playing hard, yes, but when he throws a 2-flag, and gets kicked out, something is wrong.
Wjat if Kidd got hit like that, hit the floor while his head bounced, you would be saying the same things? I don't think so.

Don't be ignorant. That same exact thing happened to Calderon last year and they carted him off on a stretcher and he was out of the hospital and walking around normally the next night (exactly like TJ). And Jose is by no means injury-prone and is a tough dude. I realize Ford has had injury's in the past, but this really has nothing to do with it. They took a precaution because it was a dangerous friggin' fall (anything involving whiplash, head contact, etc. requires delicacy, I don't care who you are) and he was out the next night and looks to be back fairly soon.
