Ok while I still believe that the offer was fair and benificial for both sides, I will concede maybe RJ is a little more valuable than what I presented so in turn I did my time on realgm and really looked for a team which 1)could use a small forward 2)was in a win now mode and 3)had young talent

I found my trade partner in the form of the Miami Heat.

Due to Miami and New Jersey being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Miami and New Jersey had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

OK we get an expiring contract in Davis, filler in smush, and two young players in Wright and Cook who could be cornerstones in are franchise a few years from now and when paired with Marcus, Swat, Boone and Nenad is a promising young nucleus.

Miami gets a backup PG in Armstrong, A servicable bigman in Allen but most importantly a near allstar player to go alongside wade which would give them a big three to compete with Boston in the playoffs this season.

    Ok...thoughts?
