I was just watching TNT NBA show,David Aldridge reported NJ will soon make a trade. I hate to say itbut RJ has the best trade value right now Magloire too in the sense that its an expiring contract.

I hope so.
EDIT: I hope there is a trade in the works and not for RJ, anyone but him and Sean.

Second indication today. D'Alessandro's last line...talks about how Thorn said he is going after a scoring frontcourt player.
Thorn isn't usually that specific.

QUOTE (Dumpy)

no, Pau. he's VERY available right now.

If he gets Pau for Vince+, I'd be in awe.

QUOTE ( hoopshype)

As poorly as the Nets are playing, as dysfunctional as they look on the court, team president Rod Thorn said there are no big trades brewing. New York Post

Wrong quote...this is the right quote from Thorn:
"That's the difference between this year and last year -- those two guys. Obviously Mikki's not going to be here, and who knows when Nenad is going to come back. We need to get our ship righted before that. We're challenged in the frontcourt to score."
Which means that's the first priority for this 9-13 team?
"I'd have to say yes," he said. "I'm trying to figure out what's available, what we might be able to get that can help us along those lines."

If Thorn makes a trade with Indiana - RJ must be involved. This time Indiana woun't be looking to get Marcus also as RJ played him out of the equation.

Something smaller...Magloire and something for someone.

But who would trade for Magloire that has a scoring big man?
Don't tell me Thorn still has the hots for Melvin Ely

can we say allen won't be on the team if we get another big? he was to be the "replacement" of mikki moore they said when they signed him.
