new cd is hot, i think lupe is one of the best radio rappers out if not the best but no one ever talks about him.

Everyone on this site listens to Soulja Boy.
Just kidding, Lupe's one of my favs...I just haven't gotten the album yet. I'll probably get it this weekend...I can't wait.

IMO he's the best young MC out right now.
The coolest was a classic, not as good as FAL, but good none the less.

Not enough songs stood out on The Cool. "The Coolest," "Dumb it Down," and "Streets on Fire" are my favorites.

I just got it. WOW. This is good...He's always bringin everythin fresh, and givin somethin different to listen to.
I liked The Coolest the best, it's good.

I like his throwback videos though.

I went to his concert last night in CiRCA nightclub in Toronto and wow his performance was crazy, right after he performed I went back to listening Food & Liquor non-stop on my iPod. The best part was that it was only $20 for a ticket, about an hour of performance but he did most of his tracks from Food & Liquor album like Kick Push, I Gotcha, The Instrumental, Sunshine, Daydreamin', The Cool, Hurt Me Soul and American Terrorist...then he did acouple of songs from his Touch the Sky mixtape which were sick as well followed by Superstar and 2 tracks from his new cd. If Lupe comes rolling through your city to perform you have to check him out he puts on a crazy show.

Man I just picked up The Cool today and I didnt think he could top his first album Food & Liqour but he makes you forget all about it with his sophmore album. For anyone who enjoys hip-hop I recommend you pick this cd up, the lyrics are amazing and the production is well done if you havnt listened to his debut album listen to The Cool (the song) at least and it will clear some things up for The CooL (the album).

The only song I really got into was Hip Hop Saved My Life everything was pretty blahzay blahzay. Usually we have similar opinions on hip hop albums so I'm wondering if I'm missing something? I had low expectations for this album, too.
I just thought that the whole concept was really well put together and I'm always amazed by Lupe's wordplay and referencing. Every single song stuck with me. It's been a while since a mainstream artist put out such a consistent album.
Lupe = overrated Vakil = slept on I heard some of the album, and it sounded like some kind of alternative rock CD, lol....Lupe's flow can be boring at times and his lyrics attempt to be creative, but they just lack that "punch" to really carry them to the place where everyone has him (which is on a throne in heaven, lol).....................I've given dude a chance, I've listened to plenty of his material, but he's just one borin ass cat to me......he doesn't suck and he does have some talent, but classic album???????...........ooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!
