Lakers had an emotional victory last night and earlier in the week PJax said this team has to learn how to win back to back games if they want to get to a championship level. Our last time out we destroyed the Nuggets, but then laid a goose egg in Utah. The Lakers recently beat the Warriors behind a 20 point career high effort by Bynum, and arguably his best game of the year.
The Warriors will make adjustments to neutralize Bynum, and the Warriors are always tough at home.
Fortunately it's a short distance from LA to Oakland so travel fatigue should not be a factor. I think this is a big game for us tonight because a victory extends our win streak to 5, and shows the team took PJax words to heart and delivered a favorable result.
Keep an eye on how Bynum responds after his ejection last night. Hopefully he learned from it and will do a better job of keeping his emotions in check. I wouldn't be surprised to see Nellie instruct his players to get physical with Bynum the way the Spurs did last night. Bynum is going to play with a chip on his shoulder tonight and if the Warriors can provoke him into another outburst, the Lakers lose a valuable asset on the court. Nellie and Popovich come from the same coaching philosophy so the Lakers staff and veterans need to prepare Bynum mentally on how to approach this game.
With Kwame out and Mihm still rusty, the Lakers can't afford for Bynum to get into foul trouble or T'd up and out of the game tonight. The Lakers need him to run their halfcourt offense effectively, defend the basket, and clean up the missed shots the Warriors will have tonight.
The Lakers did a nice job of attacking the rim last night I want to see that again tonight against an undersized Warrior team. The Lakers can't get caught up in a shoot out and fastbreak basketball.

I think Lakers can get a solid W tonight. Bynum SHOULD , might not, but should have some fire from last night's ejection. Warriors are pretty weak at the C spot, so Bynum should be able to have a furious game. The only resistance is Mbenga who had some good defensive plays last matchup. Kobe23, keep making those winless predictions bro .
3 by Baron!!! Woot!!! Amazing 3!
but i have to say... it was kobe's and phil's fault that we lost the game... kobe was injured and was jacking up 4 str8 shots, thats ok coz he's simply trying to take over even if he was injured... but he never stopped and told the coaches not to sub him... phil's fault is that he allowed this...
well Kobe "didnt have it today"... but good overall game by the Lakers against a chaotic warriors arena

good game except for the final half quarter. im curious if LO intentionally missed that last FT???? phil shoulda put farmar, fish, ariza, lo, and bynum out on the floor in the final minutes. bynum looked tired and lackidaisical towards the end.
