http://www.hoopsworld.com/Story.asp?story_id=6501
For those missing Mikki, he got about $3 million more guaranteed in his deal with the Kings than what the Nets were offering.
His Kings deal is for three years and $17.7 million of which only the first two years and $2 million of the third year are guaranteed. That works out to $5.4 million in 2007-08, $5.9 million in 2008-09 and $2 million guaranteed in 2009-10 for a total of $13.3 million guaranteed. If the Kings exercise his option in 2009-10, when he will be 35, he will get $6.5 million that year, for a grand total of $17.7 million.
The Nets offered Moore a deal for three years and $10.3 million, apparently all guaranteed. That would have worked out to $3.1 million in 2007-08, $3.4 million in 2008-09 and $3.8 million in 2009-10.
"The Nets were very competitive and tried hard to keep him," said Moore's agent, Mark Bartelstein.

You can't blame the guy. He has never been worth that much money, so him taking advantage of it wasn't really selfish. The Nets even encouraged Mikki to go for it.

He has admitted he wasted the money he made before this deal. He invested in a company that sold high school throwback jerseys of NBA Stars. Lost a lot there. He told a group of kids in a high school class that he was basically broke.
And I still think the three year deal, giving him $4 million at age 35, would have been a mistake.

QUOTE (Giantsfan1)

like all of the money he is going tomake now, or in the past?

In the past.
I remember that company too.
