IMO the main reason that we are a joke on the court is because everyone is frustrated and nobody is playing with energy at all. Even Sean Williams energy has fallen off from the beginning of the season. That's why we were so good with Mikey Moore last year. Not because he had an ugly jumper than somehow always found a way to go in or because of his unbelieveably lanky body that if he took a charge he might have snapped in half but because of his energy. When he was on the court right away he was throwin down with authority n flat out screamin at people. He got the rest of the team goin everytime he stepped foot on the court and thats what we need is an emotional leader because Carter has rarely done it this year. This years Nets when we are losing just try to play well for maybe some more playing time. Last year if we were down 50 Mikey would be out there fighting for each posession and that would inspire the rest of the team to keep fighting.

it's a coach's duty to motivate his players. but, at the same time, NBA players must be motivated by themselves.

I wish he played like his 1st 2 seasons with all that energy same goes for RJ too

Because every fan, sportswriter and even most of the players wondered why he was starting Collins and Malik Allen and giving no minutes to the much more talented Sean Williams, JoshBoone and Jamal Magliore.

I'm sick and tired of blaming Frank, I've seen him literally try every rotation possible and the team is still losing.
I don't have much faith in Frank but if these millionares can't get motivated by their paychecks than get the F out.

Why must Larry wait this long to play the youngster's in the starting lineup?

Best chance to win is with them.

He should be blamed.
How could he just give up on playing Mag and Sean Will no matter VC was not in the lineup ?
How could he just give up on playing Sean and Boone after they both had a good game ?
How could he just give Sean two or three DNPs by no reason ?
Whydon'the justgive their kidsone morechance to avoid the mistake but ignore Collins' mistake?
His rotation was just strange, he played Collins in the final minutes in the start of the season, and thatcosted us 2 or 3 games.
We should be 14-10 now at least, not 10 and 14. ok ?

Actually it is the players but NOT the Big 3. The Big 3 are doing their job but nobody on the bench is helping out. Go back and check every win that the Nets have had this season, I can bet you'll be hard pressed to find a game where they won without someone on the bench stepping up. There's been games this season when RJ and Vince had 30+ and the team still lost? Why? Because nobody on the bench contributed. How about that game recently where J-Kidd had a triple double and Vince had 32 points on 11-17 shooting and the Nets still lost. That was moreso because of RJ's bad game though because Boki did step it up that game. Nevertheless, as the Nets are built right now, they need people to contribute off the bench or they won't win.

The reason the Nets don't win is because every combination of players plays worse defense than the Nets have played since the 90s.
And that most certainly includes the "Big Three".
Against the Cavs, all of the rotations worked - even the starting one - because the players all played like they wanted to earn their paychecks.

Since when are the Nets not the streakiest team in the NBA? I don't get why you guys are so worked up. You should be used to it by now. I wouldn't blink if the Nets won their next ten games.
