Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard must serve a two-match touchline ban, Uefa decreed on Monday.

Dutchman Frank Rijkaard will have to sit out the first leg of Barcelona's first Champions League knock-out stage tie after Uefa gave him a touchline ban as punishment for being sent off for arguing with the referee during Barca's group game against Lyon on November 27th.

He has already sat out the first match of the ban with an automatic suspension that covered Barcelona's final group match against Stuttgart last week.

The draw for the knock-out stage is due to take place at Uefa's Nyon headquarters on Friday.

Uefa Yet To Deal With Wenger

Uefa are yet to announce what punishment Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will be given for being sent off during the Gunners' 3-1 defeat by Sevilla last month.

Wenger has served a one-match ban already but could be dealt with more harshly than Rijkaard because he failed to go into the stands after being dismissed for arguing in the 80th minute.
