Heard it on the Dan Patrick show this morning. The Lakers and Mavs are the two teams seeking out a trade for Kidd. Sam Smith said the Mavs have more to offer because of Devin Harris, but he said the Lakers do have some interesting pieces. He felt the Lakers could get a deal done for Kidd without giving up Kobe, Bynum, or Odom.
Sam Smith said Kidd's situation has a lot of parallels to KG's situation in Minnesota. He said New Jersey should have traded Kidd last year and since they didn't agree to an extension the writing is on the wall for him to be traded at some point. He said both Minnesota and New Jersey waited a year too long to make a trade. He feels NJ has peaked with their current trio and they aren't going to get any better while other teams in the East have made significant progress.
He went on to say Thorn and Frank are on shakey ground in NJ.
I don't think Dallas could get a deal done if it involved Harris because he's a BYC player and both teams are well over the cap.

Then if we could get a deal done where we dont send odom or bynum or kobe then who do we send in a trade? kwame and radman and fisher? kwame and radman and critt? what is it that we would trade and why in the hell would the Nets do it.

Maybe Kwame, Vlad and Critt
A Possible lineup/rotation of: Kidd or Fisher/ Farmar Kobe/Ariza/Vujacic Walton/Kobe/Ariza Odom/Turiaf Bynum/Mihm Kidd or fisher could be shuffled from bench to starting lineup to sustain their fitness and energy for the playoffs
