Rando Emerges

QUOTE

Second-year point guard Rajon Rondo was one of the big question marks for Boston heading into this season. His solid play this season has answered the many naysayers who saw him as the Celtics' biggest weakness.

"He's been playing great lately," said Detroit's Tayshaun Prince who, like Rondo, attended the University of Kentucky. "Probably the start of the season there was pressure on him. But he just kind of relaxed and let the big 3 do their thing and fit in, control the tempo and things like that ... that better suits him." -- Booth Newspapers

He's been impressive so far. What I like the most about him is the quickness that he has and also he plays tough defense. He's probably one of the best point guards in the defensive category.

The only question mark I had about Rondo is his shooting, which is coming along nicely.Other than that, this was Danny's best pick as a Director of Basketball Operations of the Celtics!

Nah, I just stated the obvious. [IMG]

Hey, I never said his drafting was bad, it's just that some players fell into his lap.

Don't think I ever heard you say his drafting was good either. [IMG]

Well, I think it's pretty obvious that it has been. [IMG]
