So, anyone enjoying this game? Anybody having trouble running it on their PC?
I'm thinking of picking it up but I don't know if it will play well on my computer.

I have it and I (literally, unfortunately) inherited a computer that will play it, but i am terrible at this type of game.

The graphics are really good as far as I've been able to get.

I downloaded the demo and my video card couldn't take it. I had to play it on low settings which is pretty ugly. Seems like a good game, but I can't stand playing with awful graphics.

    Test your computer here: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srl

After that I recommend that you download the demo, just in case.

^ I have a fairly new computer with an 256MB 8600 GTS video card in it, but the advisor is suggesting an 8800 GTS with 640MB of RAM.

Um, wow. That's pretty much two 320MB cards running in parallel. Sorry I don't have $800 laying around to play ONE game.

Anyways I think my PC will run it in average/medium settings, thanks for the help.

Try the demo. That way you will know what to expect.

This computer is running a Radeon 2900XT with 1024MB of RAM.

Judging by the guy who built it, that's probably expensive.

It cannot, BTW, run the game with max settings. It runs perfect on all "high" settings, though.

I think the game is made for two video cards running in unison so one--even a high end desktop processing one, like what I think yours is--probably won't cut it (for maxed-out settings).

Anyways, I tried the demo, it ran alright on medium settings, though the draw distance was a little short.

The game looks fun but I'm not inspired to buy it. I didn't much like FarCry and this seems like a similar experience.

I haven't played a PC game since the times of Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne and Starcraft Brood War. My PC has become obselete for Crysis but it looks pretty though.
