Minnesota's been on the rise lately, but I'm surprised at the number of Vikings on the squad. Six Vikings? Come on...

Speaking of linebackers, I think Nick Barnett should have made the squad. He's an alternate, but I think he should have made it outright...and not just because I'm a Packers fan.
119 tackles (90 Solo), 3.5 sacks, 2 INTs
He is unquestionably the leader of Green Bay's defense and a huge part of why they're having such a solid year overall.

Nice to see Marion Barber and Braylon Edwards make it this year. No love for Andre Johnson though?

QUOTE (DolfanDale)

Wes Welker didn't make it? What a joke.

Agree, he's just as important as Moss for our team.

QUOTE (CelticKing)

7 patriot players.
Great to see Vrabel in there. He deserved it.

Eight.
Brady, Moss, Koppen, Mankins, Light, Wilfork, Samuel, and Vrabel.
And yeah, Welker has had a great year, but I don't think he deserves it over Edwards, Houshmandzadeh, or Wayne.

QUOTE (Denny Crane)

Urlacher didn't make the cut. Interesting.

Yet Jason Taylor did. I guess the league is fixed.
Seriously, I get the impression that JT has been mailing it in all season. It seemed that way from a few of the interviews I say in Oct & Nov as well as the Steelers & Raiders games which I was able to see.
I guess he's riding on legacy and the fumes of being DPOY last yr.

I suppose this means the whores of media aren't exactly as creative & bright as they'd like us to believe they are.
Olbermann, Costas, & Al Michaels are exempt from the above opinion.
As for the rest, I've got 2 words for 'em.......... Shut up! Especially Kevin Harlan, Randy Cross, Jerome Bettis, & Berman.
