Nets lost. Vince doesn't show up at all. No team anywhere on the planet is worse at guarding the 3. We suck at doing what needs to be done at important times during the game. Too many turnovers. Etc., etc., etc..
Huge surprises. How can it be? This team? No way. I'm shocked and appalled. Blah blah and blah. Who cares.
Much more importantly... Sean-mother-f******-Williams.

Re: Sean I saw the post game interview with Sean. He looked soooo cool in that interview. And he talked sooo cool. Everything he does is awesome.

Re: Sean hes the only reason i still watch the games and the only reason why i would even consider payin the admission price to see a game.
ive already given up on this team and the season, at least if sean starts its something exciting to watch and look forward to a future star
also ive been impressed wit the recent play of boone. boone and sean should be the starting big men on this team

Re: Sean Sean Williams is the only reason to watch.
Trade Big Three, becase we are still losing, I'd rather see Marcus + Sean Williams.

At least Bobcats are easier to watch when they lose. You know why? You aren't expecting them to win... The nets have a massive payroll, a few "name" players and take the court like they are on their way to a wake. Id rather see hungry guys losing than disinterested players wearing the Nets jersey to cash a pay check... harsh but true.

Re: Sean Since the nets lost, I dont' think we'll be seeing boone and williams in the starting lineup again. Frank will give it back to collins and allen.

Re: Sean Boone needs to work on his free throws. He is very active under the basket and will get fouled often. And if he shoots 1 of 6 it will significantly hamper his game. Come on Boone, hit the gym and hit darn free throw. As Mark Jackson have said: "You gotta knock them down, because they're free"

Frank will give it back to collins and allen.

I am a bit worried about that, mainly since Sean's first start was a 22/8/2/2 effort and earned him the bench the next game. Still, this kid almost had a triple double last night; if Frank benches him after getting 8 blocks I'll be surprised...even for Frank.
You know why there was no double digit deficit this game? Williams had 8 blocks. Take those away, and give the Kings 16 points. In fact, give them more than that as Collins/Allen/whoever would probably have fouled them in the act on a few of those. There's your double digit deficit. Sean Williams = The deficit preventer. The fast break starter, too. He should have been starting from day 1.
Sean was not a problem last night. VC was. We were down what 4 late. Kidd got him a pass at around the free throw line, he passed off the shot. He turns it over. Just shoot the damn ball.
Exactly, should have been starting all year. You don't keep a weapon like him locked up. If he ever goes back to a reserve, I'm done with this team. He needs to start every game from now on. And if he has a couple bad games, let him play through it. It's not just the blocks he gets, he alters lots of shots and the other teams offense. You don't see as many forays to the hoop. Which is why Frank has to tell RJ and Vince to stop collapsing so much and guard their guys at the 3-pt line! Ridiculous, this team is giving games away. As for Boone, he has to improve his free throw shooting, or else they should try Magloire. He's not strong with the ball, so he's going to get fouled and stripped a lot. Boone's shooting style is not that bad, he should be much better from the line, 60% at least. A lot of it is in his head right now.

Which is good in a way cause you know he has the talent and skills just needs to know he can do it. He will be fine.

If there was some sort of off the court reason for that, fine. If there wasn't, Frank is an f'ing retard.

Just shoot the damn ball.
VC struggled last night but putting the whole loss on his shoulders is unfair and especially because of one play. Th bigger reasons for the loss last night was because of all the turnovers and giving up too many perimeter shots because the perimeter players all keep leaving the shooters to help out in the paint no matter what. I was begging in the game thread for them to make adjustments to stay on the shooters and let SWAT and Boone handle guys driving into the paint but no adjustments were made to stop it which could mean this was strategic decision by Frank. The Nets perimeter players were still playing like they had Collins and Allen as their front court for some reason. Sean better get the start from now on and the team should adjust accordingly to his game changing shot blocking ability on the defensive end.
Hopefully Boone can pull out of this, I can't remember him ever being this bad at FT's. While not the main cause for our woes, its certainly become a factor now that coaches know what a horrible FT shooter he is; he's not that great of a finisher, either. This wouldn't be a problem if he could at least convert those lay ups (although he's gotten better at that over the last couple of games)
