Well im never a fan of "Blowing Up" a team. However if our crummy perimeter play continues it is probably our best option. If we don't improve we need to snag up some picks while our players have some kind of value left because this seems to be a pretty good draft class. Right now with our own pick we'll probably have a chance at landing a nice talent for PF/Center to line up next to S.Williams. Lets face it, boone has had good games but hes an energy guy. He's never going to be the big man we are looking for, but can be a valuable 6th man. However we have a lot of holes and we should try to score a talent at sg as well.

Sean Williams is probably the best surprize for the Nets. The big 3 really can seem to have good and bad games at the same.

Richard Jefferson, seemed to make like 5-6 really bonehead plays, but he also carried the Nets pretty good at the end of the game.

Carter, shot 5-12 FG, 4-5 FT, 6 boards, 7 assists, and 3 TOs. He made some nice passes, but passed up that shot and then committed a turnover.

Kidd, shot 5-12 FG, 10 boards, 9 assists, 5 TOs. He messed up some passes, but made that nice buzzer beater at the half.

Sean Williams made some great blocks and decision making on the defensive end, a very good all around impact by Sean.

Boone will go back to the bench when Krstic comes back anyway. I like our team. I don't want anything major done unless it really helps us. I also wish Vince would heal his damn ankle/leg/whatever that is preventing him from taking enough shots.

VC was. We were down what 4 late. Kidd got him a pass at around the free throw line, he passed off the shot. He turns it over. Just shoot the damn ball.</div>

VC struggled last night but putting the whole loss on his shoulders is unfair and especially because of one play. Th bigger reasons for the loss last night was because of all the turnovers and giving up too many perimeter shots because the perimeter players all keep leaving the shooters to help out in the paint no matter what. I was begging in the game thread for them to make adjustments to stay on the shooters and let SWAT and Boone handle guys driving into the paint but no adjustments were made to stop it which could mean this was strategic decision by Frank.

The Nets perimeter players were still playing like they had Collins and Allen as their front court for some reason. Sean better get the start from now on and the team should adjust accordingly to his game changing shot blocking ability on the defensive end.

Vince played shitty D, too. Either that, or he was the only one comfortable with letting Sean & Boone block shots.

Going by the new stats sections on here http://sportstwo.com/NBA/TeamStats/NEWJERSEY

    Williams: 42 Blocks
    Collins + Boone + Magloire + Allen + Krstic: 32 blocks

Think he'll be able to beat their total at the end of the season?

For sure. As long as he continues to start and get good minutes, he's going to be beating a lot of totals in blocks by the end of the season.
