The sitemenu and forumheader aren't working for me. Looks great! Question: Why wasn't I able to edit my post in this topic? EDIT: I guess I'm not able to edit posts unless 1) it's my most recent post or 2) it's in the forum I'm moderating. EDIT: Or maybe not. I can edit this post, but not the one before it. I'm confused.
I had the same problems getting to the site, but everythings cleared up for me now. Looks good guys. So how do we rep people? And how can I neg-rep anything peg posts?

Anyway I've found my first bug: when you try to add a comment on someone's member page it sends you to Hunter's page the second you click inside the text box. EDIT: Ok here it is, yeah for some reason I can edit this second post, but not the previous one, much like Peg has noticed.
I love the new site. I love everything about it, really. Everything runs much quicker and smoother, I'm extremely familiar and used to IPB, the layout looks terrific, and not just the forums - the new website in general is outstanding. The added features (such as the Live Chat) are awesome and the depth is tremendous. This is a serious sports website, not just a forum.
I can't figure out how to change my user title, I just see how to change my 'personal statement.' Don't get me wrong, "Advanced Member" looks shtonky and all, but it's a bit pretentious for my tastes
Denny: My password didn't work so i reset it and everything. It's a long list of letters and numbers as you'd expect. BUT when i tried to change it it wouldn't let me then when i tried to enter the live chat i couldn't get in with my current password. My old password or my new one?
The new site looks great, much easier to navigate. Is there a way when I go to NBA forums to see recent activity, or to filter recent activity on the home page to show only NBA threads?
Unlike the old S2, when I click on a thread with unread posts it no longer brings me down to the newest posts after the page finishes loading.

On the top navigation bar under the SportsTwo banner you should see My Controls . View New Posts etc. Click on View New Posts and that should do it for you.
OK guys, here's the scoop Apache is the www server software running on the server. It has a directive to tell it what to show when someone enters a URL that isn't on the server (something like http://sportstwo.com/gobbledegook). I made a really nice error page explaining how we launched a new site and all the URLs have changed, you have to redo your bookmarks to your favorite forums, etc. When I turned on the error page in apache, it runs for a while and then starts crashing itself. It's not anything in the new sportstwo code, it's in apache itself, which I didn't write. So I went to bed and slept 4 hours and the pages were crashing the server causing white pages. I've obviously taken that out, and will work on a fix for it or a workaround. On another note, for the next couple of days, any changes I make to the software is being done "live." This means if I make a typo in the source code, it'll give you an error page. If you see one of these, wait 10 seconds and then reload. I'm obviously going to load the page and see the error and fix it right away But a lot of people hitting reload all at once while I fix it isn't helping things. I don't think it would take me 10 seconds for most fixes.

See on the left where it says "Select Sport:" and there's dropdowns? In the Basketball one, select NBA and you get recent activity like the home page, but just for NBA posts.

A little annoying on massive thread like Random Thought were you have to know type the last page to get there.

This new software needs a points system for future things I'll be adding to the site. There's an arcade games modification I'll be adding in the next few days that use the points. Over the course of the next month or so, we can add as many as 4,000 flash video games for people to play, and play against each other (and for points).
When clicking on 'gallery' I get this: <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The error returned was: There are no categories that you have permission to view</div> If the gallery option is what I think it is, I'm pretty psyched. If I click on that, it takes me to the first unread post. Otherwise, it could be you need to logout, clear your cookies (there's a link to do this on the forums index page near the bottom) and then login again. This is just a guess on my part... The old SportsTwo software set cookies for the www.sportstw.com URL and now IPB is doing it. Maybe IPB is getting confused by the old ones that were set before the switch over...

On the recent activity pages, like the home page, the icon/button for going to first unread post isn't there. I didn't program it that way, and it should take you to first new post. That may not be working right, I'll look into it. EDIT: I found the problem and it's fixed.
