<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Mikki Moore last night confirmed an internet rumor from last July…that Rod Thorn gave him a half hour to accept or reject a three year, $10.3 million offer. The journeyman center rejected the offer, which many believe was just what Thorn wanted. Not long after, Moore says he got the call he had waited for his entire career, the $18 million deal he ultimately signed with the Kings.

Wow, Thorn only gave the guy half an hour to decide whether he wanted to spend the next 3 years with the Nets or not.

Thorn didn't really want him back, that's why the tiny window. He made money off the Kidd effect.

Thorn gave more money to Magloire (who is shooting 29%) than he offered Moore though.

Yea, but Thorn didn't want a long term commitment with either player.

hope Thorn is happy, we deserve to suck due to an overrated GM.
