Sounds to me he could be out a while: <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>"I've got bone spurs on the top of my foot," Wallace said. "It bothered me last night more than any other time." He had two points and five rebounds in Chicago's 103-91 home loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night. "It flared up on him during the game and postgame last night," Skiles said. Wallace said he had an MRI exam Wednesday that showed he does not have a stress fracture in the foot. Skiles expects Wallace to skip practice Thursday, but neither was sure how long the player will be out. "Not sure. Just got to play it by ear," Wallace said. "Day to day."</div> I'm not that upset about it. Maybe he can get them taken care of and come back not looking like a complete slug.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BG7 Lavigne @ Dec 19 2007, 09:57 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Hopefully he's out a bit. Aaron Gray is so much better for this team.</div> He's like Tim Duncan, but better!
RJ had bone spurs on his ankle last year and he had the worst season of his career. The best thing Wallace could do is have surgery. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>"the following year my ankle was messed up from the very beginning. I was getting cortisone shots, doing different things to try and come out there and play just to help the team." Jefferson says it finally got to a point where he needed to have ankle surgery.</div>
Count me in with the group who thinks this is good for the Bulls. This is going to get our big three some much needed minutes, and if we can get Wallace back for the last twenty or thirty games of the season he'll be rested come playoffs.
he's not doing jack anyways and its clear he's not the same B-Wallace. I'd rather have Gray starting at this point even if its 10 points a game he's getting. He gives them the low post prescence wallace can't and is a hell of a better passer.
Wallace claims he's been playing with them for years and will never get surgery. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>night, I think it bothered me more than any of the other times. Right now, we want to chill out and see if it feels any better." Some might say Wallace, who failed to grab a rebound in the first half against the Lakers, already has been chilling out. He's averaging 8.7 rebounds, his lowest total since his 1999-2000 season with the Magic. "People are going to say that regardless," Wallace said. "I'm immune to that. It's just one of those things." Wallace said he never would undergo surgery to remove the bone spurs. "That's four to six weeks," Wallace said. "I don't want to be sitting on the sidelines talking to y'all [reporters] that long."</div> It may well be time to have a heart to heart with Wallace if he's this deluded.
He should be mopey. He's not being treated as a superstar making his size contract is accustomed to, and I think he has a valid point.

I think he's already gotten a fair amount more leash than most guys on this team. Hell, he's got special exemptions from the rules just to suit him and by his play he's not merited the time he's gotten.
You reap what you sow. The guy was like Yzerman, Sanders, or Kaline. He could do no wrong, put the Pistons back on the map...Piston fans are upset that Stucky is wearing "HIS" number....You Reap what you sow

Sit him down, get a bunch of lottery balls and get Skiles and Paxson fired. That is a win win all around
