<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Giricek, Sloan Clash Sent to the locker room by coach Jerry Sloan during the Jazz's loss at Charlotte on Wednesday night, reserve shooting guard Gordan Giricek later was ordered back home to Salt Lake City to serve what amounts to a suspension of undeclared length. "I didn't do anything wrong," Giricek said three different times after leaving the locker room, "and I don't have no comment for anything." Whether or not the veteran from Croatia has played his last game for the Jazz remains to be seen. "No. I don't know," Giricek said after being asked if he wants out of Utah -- and before he was informed he would not be permitted to travel with the team to Orlando, where the Jazz visit the Magic on Friday. -- Deseret Morning News # While the rest of the Jazz flew on to Orlando, Fla., for Friday's game against the Magic, Giricek was told to collect his bags from the bus and return to Salt Lake City today. He walked out of the locker room on the phone with his agent, Marc Fleisher. My agent's going to talk to Kevin O'Connor," Giricek said. "The situation's going to be taken care of." Asked if things could be fixed, he replied, "Everything can be fixed, right? So we'll see." -- The Salt Lake Tribune # Giricek told Jazz general manager Kevin O'Connor that it was time to move on earlier this month and he's right. Giricek's clearly on a shorter leash than every other player and the Jazz should have moved him this summer if they knew things with Sloan wouldn't improve. If they do part ways with Giricek, the Jazz are expected to try to find a veteran shooting guard instead of handing over the job to C.J. Miles, Morris Almond or Ronnie Price. The Jazz have auditioned everybody but Almond for the job so far with little success. -- The Salt Lake Tribune</div>

Maybe a Jazz fan can tell us.</div> AK is happy now, but Kirilenko and Memo can't co-exist. Utah needs to try to trade Giri's & Jarron Collins, both expiring contracts, and Memo for a defensive presence, preferably a shotblocker. Utah has absolutely no D right now, and teams are just getting into the paint with ease, leading to plenty of fouls & FT's. Utah is playing horrible right now, and can use a definite trade soon. They have the offense with Deron & Boozer, with Brewer & AK getting plenty of points, leaving Memo with less shots. Memo is horrible when he doesn't get his shots because all he can do is simply shoot. I expect Utah to do something soon if this skid keeps itself up.
