Executive director of basketball operations Danny Ainge said he likes his roster right now. Ainge and coach Doc Rivers, however, also said they wouldn't be opposed to adding a player who could make an immediate impact.

"Our team's winning," Ainge said before last night's game. "Guys are playing well. We have good chemistry. They know our system. Doc has trust in them. We have guys on our roster that aren't even given the opportunities that we'd like to give them.

"Why would we bring someone else in unless we thought they'd be a starter or be better? Right now, we don't see that need." -- Boston Globe</div>

I still think we'll add either a point guard or center.

    But we'll see what happens.

I'd like someone at the deadline for Scabs, Allen and picks, exceptions.

Because Rondo is the only guard on the team that can get the ball across halfcourt under heavy ball pressure, and Scot Pollard can't take a piss without hurting his back or ankle.

I think at this point if you mentioned Tony Allen in trade discussions, the other GM would run out of the room screaming.

And we DO need a ballhandling backup PG, do you really want House to get mauled like that every time he brings the ball up in the playoffs?

Tony Allen is a good rotational player when he's healthy, plus I believe this is his last year in his contract.
