    Richie Frahm was signed six days ago, after the Clippers waived veteran forward Ruben Patterson. The intent was that Frahm could bolster the Clippers' inconsistent perimeter shooting, but the signing came with Frahm understanding that he could be waived at any time.

    That's because the Clippers are in a precarious situation at point guard. They have four on the roster but only two, Brevin Knight and Dan Dickau, are healthy enough to play. Should an injury occur to either, the Clippers would have to let Frahm go and sign another point guard.
