Veteran Wolves center Theo Ratliff had surgery Tuesday night to repair a small tear in his meniscus, coach Randy Wittman said. A sore right knee has kept Ratliff sidelined for all but six games this season.

Wittman said it's possible Ratliff could miss an additional six weeks, but he hesitated to put a firm timetable on Ratliff's return. Wittman said the surgery revealed no other problems with Ratliff's knee. -- St. Paul Pioneer Press</div>

Seems he can never get healthy.

I remember the good year he had in Portland. (then it went downhill)

Theo is done, he needs to hang it up. I can see him signing one last contract, but he's never going to put together a healthy season. It's too bad, because he's an excellent veteran presence to have, still one of the most intimidating shot blockers in the league when healthy, and Minnesota is more than desperate for a center right now. It's unfortunate.
