<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The mistakes weren't glaring but they were costly, a series of little things that ultimately cost the Raptors a game last night. They put the Blazers in the bonus with most of the fourth quarter remaining, gave up offensive rebounds after good defensive possessions, and failed to recognize time and score in the dying seconds of a close game.

That's a clinic in what not to do in an NBA game and it should come as no surprise that the Raptors ultimately dropped a 101-96 decision to the white-hot Portland Trail Blazers here last night.

"The turnovers in the fourth quarter, the dumb fouls we made, those are the things that are disappointing," coach Sam Mitchell said after the Blazers won their ninth straight game behind a sublime night of 25 points, eight assists and nine rebounds from Brandon Roy. "If you lose the game and you don't do those things, you just got beat."

What went unsaid is that if you do do those things, you didn't get beaten, you gave one away.</div>
