Boone: 11 points 8 rebounds 2blocks 5 fouls
Shaq: 12 points 7 rebounds 1 block fouled out.

Hey, Boone is equal to Shaq or better than Shaq.

Boone will be a starter from now, he can handle Shaq.

Boone is not better than Shaw, sure hes having a bad season and we will probably never see the dominant Shaq ever again but it will be a joke to compare Shaq with a nobody like Boone.

Well I wouldn't say he can flat out handle Shaq, keep in mind that other people played defense on him, and Collins/Magloire had to come in early.

But I would say that recently he's been performing as well as Shaq! Lets home Boone continues this tear he's on to the point that this solid play becomes the norm

Yeah, it actually was a joke. Good job.

Bynum plays for the heat!??

Both the Nets and the Heat suck at home and it so happened the Heat were at home.

So then what does that have to do with this thread? Unless it was a desperate cry for help and you're trying to get embarrassed:

so far the Lakers haven't beaten the Nets this year.

If you're going to bait people and hijack a thread, at least don't bring that weak-sh*t-posting

But back on topic: I couldn't ask for a better litmus test to see if Boone was a deserving starter AND the 'smaller' lineup could survive against the bangers of this league. Lets keep it going Boone!

I love these posts. Shows a lot of intelligence.

Nenowned!

I find it very ironic that somone who seems to worship Avril Lavigne would tell anyone that something or someone sucks.

Someone with Avril Lavigne as their user pic is hijacking this thread. I'm getting too old for this sh*t.

Funny thing is...that's not even Sloth. Sloth's still BG7 Lavigne, and Sloth doesn't even like the Lakers or Bynum.

Skater Boi is just a poser Sloth...haha

Just to get back on topic...
Boone played really solid basketball tonight, solid defense on Shaq and put up a solid stat line with 11 points, 8 rebounds (6 offensive) and 2 blocks. I really liked his energy as well crashing the boards, boxing out and diving for loose balls. I think we may be witnessing the birth of a starting Center.

(I wish Nenad Kristic had trade value right now)

As for Sean...I think he showed that we all need to be a little more patient with him, he's got a lot of talent and can be a big time PF in this league but he's gonna need to put on 15 pounds of muscle this offseason (similarly to the way Kenyon Martin did in the summer of 2001 after Van Horn was traded) and develop a jumpshot. Than he can really reach his potential. It will take work but I think he can do it...maybe he can dial up RJ for training advice as RJ had a suspect jumper in his first two seasons and really put time in to develop his shot from 18+ and eventually become a solid 3 point shooter as well as our best foul shooter (he was horrible at the charity stripe as a rookie) hmm...maybe he could help Boone with the free throws as well.

great game by Josh! I'm happy to see him playing so well. At the start of the season, I saw he was really down, just coming off the surgery. I almost thought he wouldn't be getting this much playing time. Now he's a starter and proving why he is. I think the combination of he and Sean are great. As I've said before, they're (hopefully) the future, and the start of the future is now (especially with Marcus back) . If anything, that's something to be excited about.

I know Shaq isn't what he once was, but it's still nice to see Boone being able to go out and put up some solid numbers and not be intimidated
