Well I do think that Vince definitely is a better passer, and more efficient scorer, and tends to get doubled more than any other player on the Nets. RJ has really good stretches and bad, he'll be able to score 4 baskets in a row, but then commit 2 turnovers in a row. Carter has his passive stretches though.

 

This thread is the epitome of what's wrong with this team.

This so called research has no truth of basis too it...at least no the interpretation of it that has be predominatley used by some of the posters in this thread. As I said before this thread is mostly a RJ vs Vince forum...who should get the most touches or not.

now I maybe misused my words...its not why this team isn't winning but it is a problem with the fanbase and media perspective that I believe hurts team cohesion.

His whole principle is the guy who takes the most shots is the guy the offense ran through. In reality its not shots but touches that really count on how an offense is run but that's not what's included in his formula.

I've said it once and I'll say it again this thread has no purpose other than to start a VC vs RJ rant. Jason Kidd barely shoots the ball so according to apocalypse our Hall of Fame PG is not the guy who runs the offense.

So apparently efficiency isn't something that matters in your book...neither are assists correct? This offense relies on the Vince and RJ equally...take either away and we won't win a game. I also still think that the fact that you include 6 games when Vince is completely out of the game against RJ a joke especially considering his backup is a defense only player in Antione Wright.

For the record RJ is not my favorite player...

that title goes to Jason Kidd, followed closely by Marcus and Josh(Uconn basketball fan) then Sean, then RJ, then Vince. I actually like Vince more when he first came to the team but due to alot of his fans constantly hating on RJ for no reason I moved him down my list not his faults but I associate him with his fans who tend to be assholes.

 

RJ should split his salary w/ VC and kidd.

 

He's my favorite, because he's so dreamy.

See this is what this thread is...it may be disguised as a purely statisical analysis but the reality is that this is a VC vs RJ thread which is quickly turning into a lets hate on RJ thread...can't we save these threads with the espn boards.
