    Champions League last 16 draw:
    Celtic v Barcelona
    Lyon v Manchester United
    Schalke v Porto
    Liverpool v Inter Milan
    Roma v Real Madrid
    Arsenal v AC Milan
    Olympiakos v Chelsea
    Fenerbahce v Sevilla

Hard matches for Arsenal and Liverpool. I think Arsenal will go through on a 1-0 win like we did two years ago. Dominate the first leg, Score a goal and Defend. Then in the second leg DEFEND, DEFEND, DEFEND.

    Celtic v Barcelona
    Lyon v Manchester United
    Schalke v Porto
    Liverpool v Inter Milan
    Roma v Real Madrid
    Arsenal v AC Milan
    Olympiakos v Chelsea
    Fenerbahce v Sevilla

Barca got a decent draw, they should be able to pass Celtic with the Fab Four at 100%. Who knows if Ronaldinho will even still be playing there by February. Even if he won't be at Barca anymore, Celtic still won't be good enough to stop them.

Lyon vs Man Utd will be interesting, but the Red Devils have played very well this season so far and Lyon aren't as good as they used to be. I can see United winning 2-0 at home and getting the tie in France.

Schalke vs Porto will also be interesting to watch. I have a gut feeling that Porto will advance.

Inter will beat Liverpool twice. They're THE powerhouse in Italy right now, and I don't see that changing any time soon. Not to mention the fact that Liverpool have not proven to be one of the lions in Europe.

Roma are a good team and have done very well in the Serie A but Real Madrid are just the better team. I don't see an upset happening here.

Milan have been extremely dissapointing so far in Italy and I think Arsenal have what it takes to beat them with their excellent mix of defense and offense. In fact, this may be Arsenal's year to win it all.

Chelsea have dominated in their last strech of games in all competitions (including the cup victory over Liverpool) and the Greeks aren't good enough to stop them, despite their surprisingly good run in the Group Stage.

Fenerbahce vs Sevilla is where I can see an upset happening. Sevilla are a good team, but the Turks may just have what it takes to take them down, especially if they manage to add Ronaldo from Milan in the transfer window.

Celtic v Barcelona - Easy game for Barca, with all the stars they have, the Celtic will have their hands full trying to defend them.

Lyon v Manchester United - Lyon has been the best team in France for the last couple of years but they don't do that good in the Champions League so have to choose United, who have a better team than last year. (also being a united fan, can't go against them lol)

Schalke v Porto - Hard to choose either one, since both have a chance of going through but I'll go with Schalke.

Liverpool v Inter Milan - Liverpool have been to the final for the last two times, winning the first one and then losing to AC Milan. They're a team build for the Champions League.

Roma v Real Madrid - Madrid are in the top of the Spanish league and I don't see them stopping either there or the Champions league.

Arsenal v AC Milan - I think Arsenal wins here as well even though Milan are the Kings of Champions League. I'm picking Arsenal because I think they can score any time they want to. Also they're pretty good defensively.

Olympiakos v Chelsea - Easy for Chelsea here.

Fenerbahce v Sevilla - Same for Sevilla, which is an underrated team.

Inter will be too strong for Liverpool.

Arsenal will be too quick for Milan.

United will have too much fire power for Lyon.

Chelsea will have too much class for Olympiakos.

Barca will score too many at the Nou Camp.

    Simple enough really.

P.S Haven't included Shalke, Porto etc because i don't think they will win it. It will most probably be one of the four teams above:D

My prediction would have to be:

    Celtic 1-0 Barcelona
    Barcelona 4-0 Celtic (4-1)

    Lyon 1-2 Manchester United
    Manchester United 1-0 Lyon (3-1)

    Schalke 0-0 Porto
    Porto 2-0 Schalke (2-0)

    Liverpool 1-0 Inter Milan
    Inter Milan 0-0 Liverpool (0-1)

    Roma 2-1 Real Madrid
    Real Madrid 3-1 Roma (4-3)

    Arsenal 0-1 AC Milan
    AC Milan 2-0 Arsenal (3-0)

    Olympiakos 0-2 Chelsea
    Chelsea 3-0 Olympiakos (5-0)

    Fenerbahce 1-0 Sevilla
    Seville 2-0 Fenerbache (2-1)

What do you think about them scores?

Man united will find it extremly difficult. Even though i am a man u fan lyon have been playing extremly well this season.

Celtic = easy win for barca but no walkover

Liverpool = just lose out to inter

Arsenal = too close to call

    Chelsea = walkover

Good result for Liverpool, they needed to win considering how quickly they were 1 man up.

Well most of you are wrong so far. Chelsea tied to Olympiakos. Liverpool beat Inter, Celtic and Barce are tied 2-2 right now, Man U are 1-0 down to Lyon, and Arsenal and Milan are matched 0-0. Arsenal are dominating btw.

Well, I aced Fenerbahce, nearly hit the nail on the head for Manchester (it ended 1-1 away, a tie like I predicted and won 1-0 at home, i said 2-0), got Chelsea right, Arsenal won like I said as well and so did Barca.

But, Porto beat Schalke (that was a tough one), Roma upset Real (I couldn't believe it), and my prediction about Liverpool vs Inter is already wrong since I said Inter would win twice. 5 out of 8 isn't too shabby, though, so I'm not complaining....we'll have to wait for the next leg of Inter vs Liverpool to see if Inter at least beat them and get me to 5 1/2.

First leg 2-3, second leg 0-1, wasn't as easy as I thought but Barca got the job done.

Was right here. It was tough for United but them managed to get the win on the second leg.

    Was right choosing Schalke. [IMG]

I said it back then and I'll say it again, this team is build for the Champions League. Thats why they don't do that good in EPL. (even though I see that changing next season)

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (CelticKing @ Dec 21 2007, 10:02 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Roma v Real Madrid - Madrid are in the top of the Spanish league and I don't see them stopping either there or the Champions league.</div>

Was sad to see Real get beat. First loss for me here. [IMG]

Yep, they did score twice in Milan.

    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (CelticKing @ Dec 21 2007, 10:02 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Olympiakos v Chelsea - Easy for Chelsea here.</div>

And it was easy for them. (at home of course)

Sevilla lost to Fenerbahce on penalties.

So 6 right and 2 wrong for me. Not bad eh?

All four EPL teams in the quarter finals. GO EPL!!!!!!!!!!!

there was some good goals in that round most notably Fabregas' and (i think) kanoute's goal.
