Nets could win the OT game yesterday because Josh Boone scored some points during the OT. And please do something in practice, You can't say how great Allan Houston was in his prime, sadly he is not better than Jacque Vaughn for now. Jason Collins's prime was only 1 or 2 years in 2001 ~2003, but after that, all is gone. Josh could have a longer time to stay in prime.
By the way, Boone's coach is Frank, and Collins' coach was Scott. Boone gets all inconsistent minutes, and was not well-developed. But he can still contribute right away when he was called to be a starter.

He still has zero double doubles in those past games, so will he definitely average a double double when given playing time? Right now you've got to say no, since (forget averaging) he hasn't gotten one in his recent slew of 30+ minute games. Love the man, praise the man, but if you want to accurately discuss the man in a responsible fashion, you can't just speak on hype and baseless potential.
I don't care whether he has double-double, just like when Jason Kidd had triple-double and we lost. We just need a decent number. Props to Boone's contribution, please don't look for a Bone in an egg.
I don't know about whether he'll average a double double or not not...truth be told I think he can average double digit rebounds in this league but unless he gets a better offensive game I think he'll float around 7-8 points a game. What I do know is that due to injury and lack of overall PT last season This season is his rookie season...I mean honestly until this year's annual Thanksgiving west coast trip he hadn't even really seen minutes whatsoever...then after the road trip he disappeared for another few games and really only came on strong two weeks ago. I think Lawrence Frank is gonna give him consistent minutes right now but I don't know, this franchise has yet to develop of a draft pick into a rotation player under Lawrence Frank. Nenad Kristic was forced into action only after Mourning, Aaron Williams and Erik Williams were traded to the Raptors, Antione Wright rode the bench his first two seasons, Marcus's minutes were inconsistent last year and Josh rode the bench the entire year...as for Sean this year...well everyone wonders about all those DNPs. Lawrence Frank hates rookies.
I dunno. I don't think Frank hates rookies. I think Frank just despises playing players who he's unfamiliar with. I bet if we had a 2nd year Antoine with the team, and Kelenna Azuibuke, Frank would definitely play Antoine and not Kelenna, no matter how much better Kelenna is.

Josh Boone's final numbers: 19 points, 13 rebounds (8 offensive), 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block 1 Ladies and Gentleman we have a starting center...first double double of the season anyone want to compare him to a young Jason Collins now?
