Jizzy, I can see it clearly it now. Take it easy, that's all their personal opinions, if they are really good to predict someone who is going to be a good player or a bad player, they are already ESPN writers.
What exactly is different about him from what he has shown us in summer league and these past few games, as compared to last year? Ive seen too little of improvement in summer league, and how exactly did he improve while rehabbing from the injury? He plays no defense, his decision making is inconsistent, when he does shoot he mostly goes for the more difficult shot attempt, etc. Right now he is an average backup point guard, nothing more.

We don't say Marcus is a Good player Now, but you can not judge him as a scrub by two games. Playing no defense? Sorry, I've watched all the Nets ball games, when he was on the court, I was thrilled, and he played well, and didn't turn the ball over even just coming off the surgery ! Question: In the last three games that Marcus played, how many turnover did he make when he came off the surgery? 1) 4 2) 3 3) 2 4) 1 5) 0

I have also said in another thread that he is still young so he still has the potential to be a good pg since he has the talent. And if you watched the games, this and last season, and summer league, then you can see he is easy to get past on the defensive end. He showed minimal improvement during the summer league, and there is no way he could improve from summer league while rehabbing his ankle. With all that said, I know he just got back from injury, but the player we all saw last season and in summer league was not impressive. He was turnover prone and a freaking swinging door on defense.

Watch the games from summer league again if you can, where we saw the true Marcus Williams before the injury and after last season. Since 9/29, he was rehabbing from the injury, meaning he was in no shape to freaking improve. For Marcus's case, there is a relevance between this season and last because we have seen little improvement from summer league. Scoring 41 points in summer league just tells us something we already knew about him, he could score. Look at the stats of the opposing guards and looked how much they scored on him. Sean is basically excused when looking at his summer league play because one, summer league is guard dominated, and two, he didnt play organized ball for months before then.
