ESPN: Lebron Shuts down Kobe to win in crunch time Yahoo: Lebron Shuts down Kobe late in Cav's win SI: Lebron Stifes Kobe in Cav's win Honestly, anyone who watched the game and it was on National TV has to laugh at these headlines. The only non-biased article came from Charley Rosen of all people. LeBron vs. Kobe still looks like a stand-off

I didn't watch the game, so I couldn't really say that it's wrong. But I'm honestly not all that surprised if it is overblown.

LeBron couldn't even stop Luke Walton last night on the defensive end.
I'd argue that LeBron played worse. Kobe missed contested shots, LeBron shot 12/29 and bricked open shots constantly. Either way, both played a sub-par game, but LeBron's team came out on top because of Varejao.

Which leads me to this question, why the hell wasn't Ronny used more to matchup against Varejao? Turiaf only played 6 minutes last night.

What'd you expect. ALL media, whether its sports, entertainment, or politics have an agenda. The sports media that covers the NBA is kissing ass to Lebron, Spurs, and Celtics; Kobe is among their hate list. Just like how 80% of the media hates Bush for some odd reason.
Yup but I just hate it when everyone is hating against Kobe but I guess that they have to do whatever they have to do. Wait until the Lakers win a championship then what are they going to do.
