Also take a peak at the Jazz, Magic, Hornets and some more teams</div> I don't think rebuilding works. Portland has been horrible for seemingly forever and I will guess they miss the playoffs again this season. They really haven't done anything in 7 or so years. Magic have been a rather easy first round exit. or have missed the playoffs completely, every year for the past 10 years. N.O. Hornets still haven't done anything worth mentioning. I don't care for rebuilding at all. I think it's slow and pointless, unless you get real lucky. And most teams don't get that lucky. </div> It doesn't matter how many times and how many sites you type that, it is still wrong and factually inaccurate.

Nets are one of only 4 teams in the NBA who have made the playoffs each of the past six years. With the exception of the first round exit the year we acquired Carter in the middle of the season, we have gotten at least to the 2nd round every single year since 01-02. How in the world does that compare to an Orlando team that has missed the playoffs 5 times in the past 10 years? They have won a grand total of SIX playoff games in 10 years! Regardless of what happens this year, they have sucked pretty awful for 10 or 11 years. Just my opinion.

See you say rebuilding does not work. The Magic since losing Shaq to the Lakers had to go two different routes. The T-mac and Grant Hill era. Which led to playoffs in the second year. First year T-mac won most improved player. After that first year The Magic were in the playoffs until the 21-61 year of 2004. Also you are wrong in the last ten years the Magic have won a total of 8 games in the playoffs. You are only using stats when it benefits your point but it also hurts your point too. You are gaging success by amount of playoff victories. How many playoff victories has this current Nets team had since being together?????? How many second round victories do they have total??? Also another thing you said that didn't make sense. You said the Magic missed the playoffs 5 times in 10 ten years okay. Now lets see The Magic sign T-mac and Hill in 2000 and make the playoffs the next season in 2001 and are constant presence until 2004. T-mac Howard Lue and Gaines are traded in the summer of 2004 and the magic get the number one pick. (Howard) Two years later they make the playoffs and lose to a better pistons but they gain experience and are currently sitting at the 3 seed in the East. So twice the Magic have rebuild and the longest time they had to wait to make the playoffs is 2 years?? You see when we say that your opinion makes no sense. You judge the Magic off their playoff success but not the Nets? Can you say hypocrite?? Also say what you want Dwight is putting up MVP numbers and will likely win the Award if his team finishes with a better record than the Cavs. So until you prove otherwise rebuilding does work and saying "it's my opinion" is not strong enough. true there is no such thing as an wrong opinion but when their are facts to prove your opinion wrong than your opinion is not strong.
