Nets are 3-2 with wins over Cleveland, Miami and Golden State and losses to the Knicks and Sacramento.

In that period, Boone and Williams began to get significant minutes, starting in the last three (Nets are 2-1).

Over the five game stretch, Nets are

--#3 in rebounding in the league, #1 in the East...and #2 in the differential over opponents, compared to #20 in the first 22.

--#10 in perimeter defense, permitting only 33.7%, compared to #29 and 39% in the first 22.

--#13 in the league in scoring, compared to #30 and last in the first 22.

Williams is averaging 7.4 points, 5 rebounds and 2.8 blocks over that period. Boone is averaging 12.0 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.0 block. Boone is also averaging 4.8 offensive rebounds per game. Williams is shooting 51.7%, 15 for 29. Boone is shooting 58.1%, 25 for 43.

I approve of this lineup change.

That's huge! If we could only cut down on our periods of sloppy play we'd really be something

Now the question is can this team finally stay healthy?

Wow, so this has been an all-around success so far. I'm surprised about the perimeter defense bit.

This is great. Now only if we could continue this, everything would be all good.

eh... lets see them against Detorit. Miami sucks and Golden State isnt exactly a dominant inside team.

Good stuff. I love this starting lineup. I wish Frank would have changed the starting lineup sooner, but I guess it's much easier to say that in hindsight.
